Placer County is accepting bids to furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, tax, transportation, and other means of construction necessary for the refurbishment of three County Monument Signs (two are located in Auburn, CA and the third is in Roseville). The work consists generally of removing sign from brick base, removing/striping all lettering and badges, repair of any surface damage, powder coating in specified colors, providing new lettering and badging, sign reassembly and installation back to brick base and the cleaning of any calcium deposits on brick base. The successful bidder(s) shall possess at all times a valid C-61/D42 Non-Electrical Sign Installation Contractor’s License issued by the State of California for the signs in Auburn or a valid C-45 Electrical Sign Installation Contractor's License issued by the State of California will be accepted for any of the signs. The work described herein is subject to the payment of not less than prevailing wages under Labor Code Section 1770 et seq. Bonds required.
