The project will realign the northbound SR-113 off-ramp at Gibson Road by removing the free right turn ramp and aligning the off-ramp movement to utilize the traffic signal. A new pedestrian crosswalk will be added on the east leg of the intersection and the existing traffic signal and lighting system will be modified for the changes at the intersection. Other project improvements include widening over the existing drainage ditch between SR-113 and Harry Lorenzo Avenue to construct a new curb & gutter, a planter strip, a multi-use pathway, and a landscape buffer behind the new sidewalk. The project will also install new pedestrian streetlights along Gibson Road. The successful bidder must possess a current, valid Class A, General Engineering Contractor’s License issued by the State of California. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
