The Town of Gypsum is seeking proposals to provide professional engineering services to consider and reassess the feasibility of conceptual I-70 Eagle Airport Interchange located between the towns of Gypsum and Eagle, Colorado. The proposed interchange, as originally studied and designed, provides for direct access to the Eagle County Regional Airport and supports regional capacity solutions to support mobility along the Highway 6 corridor, as well as other significant regional corridors. The intent of this effort is a feasibility study that can serve to restart the planning and preliminary design process for the I-70 Eagle Airport Interchange and set the project up to be able to move directly into a National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) study.
