This project focuses on improving and repairing roads within Lake Talquin State Forest including crowning, capping, adding road base, shoulder reconstruction, grading and packing primary and secondary forest roads. Roads identified for improvement and repair is an approximate total of 9.4 miles of road that was previously constructed with compacted lime rock material. This project is designed to improve the existing roadbed. For the purposes of this project, any existing lime rock or other aggregate will NOT contribute to the amount of aggregate needed to fulfill the requirements of this project. Bonds required.
