The proposed project consists of cleaning and painting the structural steel of six (6) existing bridges and associated traffic control. Locations 1 and 6: Clean all metalized beam ends in accordance with SSPC-SP 16. Clean all other structural steel to SSPC-SP10 (near white blast). Prime and paint all structural steel per individual location. Locations 2, 3 and 4: Clean all structural steel to SSPC-SP10 (near white blast), prime and paint per individual location. Location 5: Clean all metalized beam ends in accordance with SSPC-SP16. Clean all other structural steel including the supporting steel for the USGS gage hours to SSPC-SP10 (near white blast). The USGS gage house does not get painted. Prime and paint all structural steel per individual location. Federally funded project. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
