Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of the Indian Hills Elevated Storage Tank, SAWS Job No. 21-6009. The Project includes construction of a new 2.5 Million Gallon (MG) Elevated Storage Tank (EST), including site/grading/drainage improvements, driveways, security fencing, traffic control, yard piping, water main and tie-in. Also included is construction of electrical equipment, security, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) controls and other related appurtenances. Prior to construction of the new EST, demolition is required of existing structures on site. The Project also includes improvements to the existing Indian Hills Pump Station including surface preparation and coating application of the pump stations above grade piping, valves, pumps, Motor Control Center (MCC’s) electrical panels electrical canopy, pump skid, pumps, hydropneumatics tanks, corroded hardware, etc. Additionally, pump station improvements such as the replacement of pressure transmitters and heat tracing to the electrical rack, demolition of existing jockey pump, replacement of existing flow meter, check valves, butterfly valves, air release valves, pressure transmitters, flexible conduits, electrical equipment/conduits, and heat tracing, replacement of existing piping insulation and installation of new insulation on above grade valves and appurtenances and the relocation of pressure transmitter on hydropneumatic tanks are included in the Project.
