The project has two bodies of work to connect PSE power and City owned fiber to the new Kent East Hill Operations Center (KEHOC) located at the SE corner of 248th St and 124th Ave. The first body of work consists of installing PSE provided vaults and boring approximately 2,245 feet of 4” diameter PSE conduit from the SE corner of 256th St and 124th Ave, north to the existing joint utility trench currently open on the KEHOC building site. The contractor will need to have all the PSE infrastructure in the ground, inspected and ready for PSE to pull the electrical wiring by March 14, 2025. The second body of work will install handholes, bore approximately 3,500 feet of two 1.25” diameter conduit and pull approximately 5,050 feet of 48 count single mode fiber to connect Fire Station 74 located on 116th Ave to the KEHOC building at the corner of 248th St and 124th Ave. Bonds required.
