Kitsap County Department of Community Development (DCD), Shore Friendly Kitsap is seeking to enter into a professional contract for the feasibility and design of a shoreline armor removal and ecological restoration on a privately owned property. The project will benefit forage fish spawning, juvenile chinook, chum and other nearshore migratory salmon habitat. This design project is a partnership between Kitsap County, the Suquamish Tribe, and the Landowner. The Tribe is providing Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) / Puget Sound Partnership (PSP) Implementation funding for this work.
