ATC seeks a qualified contractor to construct one set of rock steps and one set of locust steps on the Appalachian Trail. Contractor will demolish and dispose of the existing timber-built staircase at the Hwy 58 Appalachian Trail access (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Cz45CK3uu4qVoWdXA) and replace them with stone stairs; achieving approximately 25 feet of vertical gain, and perform additional rock armoring above/below, retaining rock work, and construct a micro gravel connection trail. Contractor will also build approximately 30 log steps, achieving approximately 20 feet of vertical gain on a section of trail south of where the Iron Mountain Trail intersects with the Appalachian Trail. Work must comply with USFS Standard Trail Plans & Specifications and be consistent with USFS trail design parameters for the designated trail class (pedestrian-only, class 3) and use. Contractor work must be completed by December 2026.

Invitation for Bid

The Colorado River Residential Management Corporation (CRRMC), the Designated Housing Entity of the Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT), invites qualified licensed general contractors to bid on the construction of eight new detached, single-family turnkey homes.

This invitation is unrestricted. Preference will be given to Indian-owned economic enterprises or organizations. Contractors seeking Indian Preference must provide certified documentation of majority Indian ownership.

A project Site Review and Pre-Bid Conference are scheduled for July 27, 2026. The Site Review will begin at 9:00 AM Arizona time at the project site located at 2127 Navajo Avenue, Parker AZ, followed by the Pre-Bid Conference at 10:30 AM in the CRIT Lodge recreation hall, located at 13100 1st Avenue, Parker, AZ 85344. Bidders are encouraged to attend.

CRRMC will accept sealed bids until August 18, 2026, at 4:30 PM Arizona time. Bids are to be submitted in person at the CRRMC office, 27250 16th Street, Parker, AZ 85344, or by mail to CRRMC, P.O. Box 3427, Parker, AZ 85344. Bids must be received in a sealed package clearly marked as Sealed Bid Navajo Project III. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at the CRRMC office on August 19th, 2026, at 9:00 AM Arizona time.

Bid packets, including project plans, specifications, and requirements, will be available in Adobe PDF format on a USB drive beginning July 17, 2026, at the CRRMC office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at 27250 16th Street, Parker, AZ.
