We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Seeking All DBE Subcontractors/Suppliers needed for, including but not
limited to: CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS; TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM/TRAFFIC FLAGGERS; RESET/ADJUST
ROADWAY ITEMS; PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE, CLEARING AND GRUBBING; ROADWAY
EXCAVATION; SOIL AMENDMENTS; IRRIGATION SYSTEM; ROADSIDE SIGN; REINFORCED
CONCRETE PIPE; PLASTIC PIPE; CONCRETE CURB & SIDEWALK-MISC; SAWCUTTING;
THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPING & MARKING; PAVEMENT MARKER; SIGNAL &
LIGHTING; LAND SURVEYOR/LAND SURVEYING; SWPPP PLANNING; TRUCKING; WATER TRUCK; STREET
SWEEPING TRUCK; OIL ASPHALT SUPPLIER/ASPHALT OIL TANKERS; or any item of work
or material you are qualified to perform or furnish. NON-DBE SUBS/SUPPLIERS: You will be
expected to carry a proportionate percentage of 2nd-tier DBE participation with
your quote. Second-tier DBE
participation will be evaluated with your price.

George Reed, Inc. is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons Unions. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. George Reed, Inc. will pay bond premiums of up to 2%. The subcontractor must possess current insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Owner’s and GRI’s insurance requirements. Insurance waiver of subrogation is also required. Please call if you need assistance with bonding, lines of credit, insurance, obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or any related services; or assistance with breaking down items into economically feasible units or establishing flexible time frames for performance and delivery schedules to encourage or facilitate your participation.
