The City of Scottsdale is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide pre-construction phase services and complete construction phase services for the combined delivery of the City of Scottsdale’s FJ 01 – Granite Reef Wash Phase 2B and PK 02 – Pima project(s). The purpose of the proposed improvements is to control the runoff from the 100-year storm to eliminate the FEMA designated floodplain on the Granite Reef Wash between Thomas Road and McKellips Road. In addition, the city will reconstruct portions of Pima Park to include new amenities. The City of Scottsdale is currently in the process of designing drainage improvements to the Granite Reef Wash basin. Granite Reef Wash is a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) delineated floodplain that encompasses over 600 homes. The project is being completed in several phases. The first phases of improvements have been completed. Phase 2 is two areas, Phase 2A is currently under construction and primarily in Pima Road under the leadership of SRPMIC.
