In general, this project comprises the substantial remodeling of the exterior of the three-story historic Merced County Courthouse Museum built in 1875. The museum is listed on the national parks service’s national register of historic places and the United States secretary of the interior standards for rehabilitation shall therefore dictate the procedures and methods for the work which include but are not limited to cleaning, restoration, repair, refinishing, and painting all exterior features as noted on the construction documents.
