This request for proposals will be used by TAMC to select a consultant or consultant team to prepare a comprehensive action safety plan for the region and individual plans for each jurisdiction in the County of Monterey as part of the Monterey County Regional Vision Zero program. Comprehensive safety action plans (referred to as “Action Plans”) are the basic building block to significantly improve roadway safety. Action Plans are aimed at reducing and eliminating serious-injury and fatal crashes affecting all roadway users. The preparation of the Action Plans will require extensive community engagement and successful public outreach.
