The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf of The Department of Waste Resources (RCDWR) is seeking proposals from qualified firms for providing Architectural and Engineering (Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical) Design Services. Purpose: RCDWR’s shall obtain proposals from qualified architectural and engineering design firms to deliver the following desired services at the Lamb Canyon Landfill (LCL): Building design and preparation of construction plans and technical specifications for the following proposed facilities at LCL: Field Office Building to be used by landfill staff (40 employees minimum) and will provide the following amenities: private offices, cubicles/workstations, restrooms (minimum of two unisex ADA compliant restrooms with showers that are for single occupant and a minimum of three unisex restrooms that are for single occupant), meeting conference room, printer room, storage room, break room with kitchen, locker room, and outdoor sitting area. The building shall be rectangular-shape, single story, and have a footprint area ranging from 7,000 square feet to 9,000 sf. Rectangular-shaped prefabricated restroom structure to be used by staff (sectioned for men and women, multi-occupant facility, 25 employees minimum) and will consist of urinals, toilets, sinks, and have a footprint area ranging from 600 square feet to 800 sf , located near the LCL Waste Recycle Park Facility. Site infrastructure improvements for potable water systems, on-site wastewater systems, site solar power generation and battery energy storage system, and fire suppression for structures as required. Site Operations building to be constructed to LEED Silver certification requirements. 4. Provide geotechnical services for structure foundation design. Prevailing wages.
