Scope of Work: The project is a complete renovation of the existing park and will install new program elements across all five blocks, including: two sports courts; two childrens’ play areas; an exercise area; a stage with decking; two lawns; two picnic and BBQ areas; two storage containers; utility connections for three future park activation kiosks; seating and picnic areas; decorative and permeable concrete pathways; fencing and gates; custom decorative metal elements; foundations for future art elements; concrete walls; lighting; planting; and irrigation. Work also includes: green infrastructure such as planted treatment areas, detention basins, and associated conveyance for stormwater capture; structural rehabilitation of approximately 900 linear feet of pre-1906 brick sewer main via cured in place lining (CIPL); and installation of new manholes, sewer laterals, and other sewer improvements.
