For the purposes of this prequalification of prospective bidders, the following project scope of work: The City is replacing the existing playground at East Hillsdale Park. The estimated cost is approximately Two Million ($2,000,000). The Project consists of the following: 1. Demolition of existing play equipment, site furnishings, AC paving, concrete curbs, turf areas and irrigation system as needed. 2. Water pollution control and site protection measures. 3. Tree protection measures. 4. Earthwork, grading and utilities. 5. Install new play equipment, safety surfacing, concrete curbs, AC (vehicular and pedestrian) pathways, drinking fountain, storm drain lines, Bio-retention areas, pathway lighting, site furnishings, fencing, irrigation, synthetic turf, turf sod, landscaping, soil amendments and other specified improvements. 6. Traffic and pedestrian control throughout construction.Contractors wishing to be prequalified for the work described in this Request for Qualifications shall possess a CSLB License Class A – General Engineering Contractor and/or Class C-27 – Landscaping Contractor.
