It is expected each contractor will make additions which they believe, from experience and judgment, to be beneficial and desirable for the City. It is expected the work will be scheduled and performed in such a manner that minimum costs will be incurred, and the project schedule will not be exceeded. The City will only provide the assistance indicated within this request for proposals (RFP). Additional assistance the contractor will require from the City shall be included within the contractor’s proposal. It is expected each proposal would include the following task: Project Management, Review, and Scheduling The contractor will be responsible for the following: 1. Install HVAC systems as specified in Attachment 1 and Attachment 2. a. Please note that the Daikin and AAON equipment listed in Attachment 1 and 2 have already been procured for this project. 2. Provide a schedule a. All work must be completed within the City of Redding Power Plant’s Spring outage in April of 2025. 3. Provide all staffing for the work at the City of Redding Power Plant. 4. Conform to the City’s outage schedule in the event that work can only be completed during specific time frames or unit operational status. 5. Adhere to City of Redding Power Plant lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, confined space entry procedures, electrical safety, and all other site safety programs that apply to the work. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
