Visalia Purchasing Department is soliciting bids for an annual contract for the transportation of biosolids from the City of Visalia Water Reclaimation Facility to the Tulare County Landfill. Bidders will provide an hourly rate to transport approximately 7,000 tons of biosolids to the County Landfill. The City will provide the equipment and labor to load the biosolids into the transport vehicles. The City will also be responsible for disposal fees. The successful bidder shall be responsible for providing the transport vehicles, including all fuel, hauling and dumping at the landfill. This is a public works maintenance contract subject to payment of prevailing wages, registration with the California DIR, uploading of certified payroll to the Labor Commissioner and other requirements outlined in the City of Visalia Labor Compliance Manual (attached to RFB document).
