As described in the Bidding Documents, the bids are for a public works project, Waterline Replacement Project: Cedar Street, Wisteria Street, Rowell Avenue, & Leota Lane, (“Project”), which consists of: 1) mobilization, demobilization, and final clean-up; 2) traffic control, construction signage, and traffic maintenance; 3) constructing 713 linear feet of 6-inch polyvinyl chloride waterline; 4) constructing 115 linear feet of 8-inch polyvinyl chloride waterline; 5) three (3) 6” gate valve installations; 6) four (4) 8” gate valve installations; 7) three (3) air-vac installations; 8) one (1) blow-off installation; 9) 19 water service line replacements; 10) hydrostatic testing and disinfection of domestic water mains and services; 11) highlining water systems; 12) masonry retaining wall construction; 13) 70 square feet of additional roadway replacement; 14) 10 trees trimming; 15) 10 additional potholing for utilities; 16) 50 hours of utility conflict resolution; 17) additional worksite remediation; and 18) all appurtenant work. The waterline is located in the public roadway and as such, coordination with property owner/residents, County Encroachment Permit, and a City Encroachment Permit is required. Bonds required.
