The High Service Pump Station (HSPS) at the George Kristoff Water Treatment Plant (WTP) requires rehabilitation. The HSPS is located at 400 North Harbor Blvd, West Sacramento, CA 95605. This RFQ (Request For Qualification) is a pre-qualification/pre-screening of General Engineering Contractors by the City. Qualified contractors/proposals will be eligible to submit bid proposals in response to the City’s subsequent Request for Bid Proposals (“RFP”)/Invitation To Bid(ITB) for the Project. The General Engineering Contractors must be appropriately licensed and registered in the State of California for engineering and construction services as needed to complete the Project. The required license is a Class A General Engineering Contractor’s License. In addition, Contactors must have completed construction of at least three (3) water treatment plant / lift stations within the last ten (10) years. The selected Contractor will be required for: 1) Install of a Temporary By-pass Pump station 2) Construct Flow Meter (Effluent) Vault 3) Construction of a new 90’ x 16’ wide structural vault of depth 25’ to house the existing high service manifold. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
