GRU seeks to install a new 24-inch force main (FM) along SW 24th Avenue between SW 91st Street and Tower Road. This FM will parallel an active existing 16-inch FM and will provide additional capacity for the increased flows coming from developments in GRU’s western service area. The new FM will connect to an existing FM system at Tower Road which then conveys flow into the GRU Kanapaha Water Reclamation Facility (KWRF). The project will consists of approximately 4425 LF of 24" PVC DR -18 Force Main installed primarily via open cut method.
