All work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Specifications prepared by the Owner. Bids shall be submitted for demolition, disposal, furnishing, delivering, and installing all materials, equipment, and services, including labor for the Work, which generally involves the following activities: Milling and resurfacing approximately 3.22 miles of residential roadway. Road segments included in this resurfacing project include the following: 1. Seminole Ave. – From US 41 to W. Highland Ave. – 0.25 Miles 2. Mossy Oak Dr. – From Hoffman Ln. to End – 0.16 Miles 3. Elm Ct. – Entire Length – 0.03 Miles 4. Peterson Ct. – Entire Length – 0.02 Miles 5. W. Grace St. – From S. Line Ave. to US 41 – 0.56 Miles 6. Poe St. – Old Floral City Rd. to Longfellow Ter. – 0.22 Miles 7. Holmes Ave. – From Eden Dr. to Emerson St. – 0.08 Miles 8. Emerson St. – From Cooper Ave. to Greenleaf Ave. – 0.16 Miles 9. Greenleaf Ave. – From Emerson St. to Claymore St. – 0.06 Miles 10. Lakeshore Dr. – Full Length – 0.35 Miles 11. Knob Hill St. – Entire Length – 0.08 Miles 12. Hillside Ct. – From Old Floral City to Lakewood Dr. – 0.08 Miles 13. Lakewood Dr. – From Mossy Oak Dr. to Hillside Ct. – 0.13 Miles 14. Meadow Ln. – From Old Floral City Rd. to Lakewood Dr. - 0.08 Miles 15. Grove Manor Blvd. – From Pleasant Grove Rd to Sweet Pine Pt. – 0.13 Miles 16. Great Pine Pt. – Entire Length – 0.18 Miles 17. Stotler Ave. – From SR 44 to Leroy Bellamy Rd. – 0.17 Miles CONTRACT TIME: Construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is 90 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with an additional 30 consecutive calendar days to achieve Final Completion (120 days total). Addenda will be sent via e-mail to all plan holders up to seventy-two (72) hours before the Bid closing time. The Owner is not responsible for delivery of addenda to prospective bidders. BID SECURITY: A 5% bid security will be required for this project, if contract price exceeds $100,000. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND: The Owner will require that the Contractor furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price, if it exceeds $100,000. All Payment and Performance Bonds shall be secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company recognized in good standing and authorized to do business in the State of Florida. The City of Inverness reserves the right to waive formalities, waive any technical defects, reject any and all bids, and accept any bid which represents the lowest and best offer to the City.
