The Improvements under this Contract consist of milling and resurfacing of SR 8A (I-110) from SR 30 (US 98) to SR 8 (I-10) including the entrance/exit ramps at SR 10 (US 90/Cervantes St), E Maxwell St, SR 295 (Fairfield Dr), SR 296 (Brent Ln), SR 750 (Airport Blvd), and SR 8 (I-10). The project will also receive upgrades to signing and pavement markings and new pavement markings on the existing bridges from SR 30 (US 98) to E Maxwell St. Other minor improvements include guardrail upgrades, lighting, and drainage repairs. The existing Telemetered Traffic Monitoring Site (TTMS) 480368 will be replaced just south of Hyatt St. The existing SB overhead guide sign mounted to the SR 742 (Creighton Rd) overpass bridge will be relocated. All work to be done in Escambia County. DBE 11%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
