The WORK consists of the placement of approximately 830,000 cubic yards of beach compatible sand obtained from an offshore borrow area located offshore of St. Joseph Peninsula, Gulf County, Florida to renourish 1.1 miles of beach which includes the partial replacement of the dune. The beach fill will be placed between DEP Monuments R-100 to R-105.8 (~1.1 miles). The WORK also includes the construction of eight (8) submerged breakwaters between DEP R-101 and R-105. The WORK shall additionally include the supply and installation of approximately 118,000 native dune plants.
