The Town of Medley (“TOWN”) is seeking bids from contractors (hereinafter referred to as the “CONTRACTOR”), to submit bids for the construction of a steel sheet pile bulkhead wall along N.W. South River Drive from NW 72nd Avenue to NW 69th Avenue and South Florida Water Management District’s Miami C-6 Canal. The Contractor must furnish all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and perform all operations required to construct the wall in accordance with the Contract Documents and as described in the Technical Specification (Attachment "A"), Engineered Drawings and Plans (Attachment "B") and Environmental Technical Memorandum (Attachment "C"). This is a federally funded project by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). All HUD Federal Rules and regulations pertaining to this project are applicable and includes compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, nondiscrimination, wages, social security, workers' compensation, licenses, and registration requirements (Exhbit "C"). Work in the canal can only be done during the dry season, defined by SFWMD Operations as December 1st thru April 30th (5 months).
