The City of Lakeland (OWNER) seeks the services of a reputable, experienced, and highly qualified Industrial Valve Contractor to perform standard Outage repairs and maintenance to the Safeties/Reliefs and Control Valves of two Combined Cycle power plants as described in general below, and as detailed in the Technical Requirements section. McIntosh Unit No. 5 is located at 3400 E Lake Parker Rd in Lakeland, FL. It is a natural gas fired combined cycle unit. The Combustion Turbine is a Siemens 501G machine with a Nooter‐Erikson HRSG (heat recovery steam generator) designed to produce 553,360 lb./hr. main steam flow at 1832 psig and 1041 deg. F at the HP superheat outlet. Larsen Unit No. 8 is located at 2002 U.S. Hwy. 92 E. in Lakeland, FL. The unit is a dual‐fuel (liquid distillate and natural gas) General Electric (GE) 7EA Combustion Turbine exhausting into a Foster Wheeler HRSG designed to produce 263,000 lb./hr. main steam flow at 925 psig and 903 deg. F.
