The annual services of a qualified and experienced contractor to furnish sodding including all required materials, tools, equipment, labor and supervision in accordance with section 570 of this standard specifications for road and bridge construction. The maintenance of traffic shall also be according to Section 102 Maintenance of Traffic in Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge construction. The successful contractor shall furnish the required services on an as needed basis including the contractor shall furnish the required services on an as needed basis including the furnished of sod for pickup and installation by owner or the furnishing and installation of sod. The site for pickup of sod from vendors shall not exceed twenty-five (25) miles from center of Lakeland. This shall be an annual service for supply of materials and/or the installation of the same for the City Public Works Construction and Maintenance Division; However, it shall be available to all other city departments for use on their projects on an as required basis.
