St. Mary’s County Public Schools (SMCPS) is requesting price quotes for the material, service, tools, delivery, and labor required to perform rigging inspections and repairs to theatrical stage rigging systems at Chopticon High School, Great Mills High School, and Leonardtown High School, on an as needed basis, in accordance with the scope of work and specifications outlined herein. Scope: Provide skilled, certified technician(s), tools, materials, equipment, supervision, to perform rigging inspections and repairs to theatrical stage rigging systems. Work will include inspecting, making necessary adjustments, repairs, equipment replacements, and reports as required by regulation and industry standards. The contractor will provide St. Mary’s County Public Schools (SMCPS) an inspection report within 30 days of the inspection with an estimate and priority of repairs, separated by school site. Work will include repairs to stage rigging, stage curtain riggings, lighting supports, pulleys, ropes, cables, anchors, guards, and safety equipment at the stage and in the auditorium. Contractor needs to demonstrate experience in counterweight systems, mechanical systems, and hydraulic systems.
