Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision required the Replacement and Repair Infrared Heaters for the USCG Station Duluth. • Remove and replace two failed natural gas-powered Detroit radiant heaters rated at 50,000 BTU. • Install/Furnish two power exhaust infrared heaters with a minimum BTU rating of 50,000. • Install/Furnish two wired in thermostats. • Install/Furnish appropriately sized flue chimney’s with vent caps. • Remove and update existing chains to rigid heater mounts. • Install/Furnish appropriate fixed hardware to support heaters. • Install/Furnish all new exhaust and intake venting. • Perform a startup on the equipment. • Connect to the unit and monitor all temperatures, pressures, and voltages. • Verify proper operation. • Provide all equipment needed to access the heater locations. • Provide a one year warranty on labor and three year warranty on materials. Option Bid: • Remove and replace two natural gas-powered Detroit radiant heaters rated at 50,000 BTU. • Install/Furnish two heaters identical to those furnished in the base bid. • Install/Furnish two wired in thermostats identical to those furnished in the base bid. • Install/Furnish appropriately sized flue chimney’s with vent caps. • Remove and update existing chains to rigid heater mounts. • Install/Furnish appropriate fixed hardware to support heaters. • Install/Furnish all new exhaust and intake venting. • Perform a startup on the equipment. • Connect to the unit and monitor all temperatures, pressures, and voltages. • Verify proper operation. • Provide all equipment needed to access the heater locations. • Provide a one year warranty on labor and three year warranty on materials.
