In general, the work on this project will consist of the rehabilitation of the New Lisbon Developmental Center existing 300,000 Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank located in Pemberton Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. The work shall include, but not be limited to, replacement of the 10-inch carbon steel tank fill line and riser piping from the base elbow at grade level to the tank bowl connection, removal and replacement of the existing roof vent with a new vacuum-pressure, frost free vent and screen. This work shall also include complete removal and disposal of all debris and sediment from the bottom of the tank following initial tank draining to be completed by the Owner. In addition, while the tank is empty, the Contractor shall provide a complete inspection of the existing conditions of the bottom of the tank bowl, identify any areas that may be a cause for leaks, provide a cost estimate for repairs including means and methods, and complete repairs of the appropriate areas, as directed and authorized by the Engineer and Owner. The costs for repair work will be covered under the allowance as set forth in the bid form. Single Bid (lump sum all trades). All bidders must be classified with DPMC with one of the following trades: General Construction (C008 or General Construction / Alterations & Additions (C009) or Painting – Tanks/Steel Structures/Elevated Structures (C078). Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
