The City of Newburgh plans to replace the existing spillway channel walls, a portion of the spillway channel slab, and the vehicle access bridge at the spillway crest; installation steel sheet pile seepage cut-off at the spillway crest; replacement of a portion of the outlet channel wall, stabilization of a portion of the outlet channel wall, and associated site work including regrading of the embankment crest at the vehicle bridge, regrading of the embankment upstream slope and placement of supplemental riprap at the spillway channel approach, and all other work that is incidental and necessary to perform the work. As per the approved New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Land Use Permit, no work can commence prior to May 1, 2025. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
