The work consists of the construction of a new Police Evidence Building located on the City of Corvallis Public Works Campus. The bid includes the Base Bid and Additives A, B, C, and D. The Base Bid includes site preparation, pre-engineering metal building (PEMB) erection, electrical improvements, and HVAC improvements. The PEMB materials, installation instructions, and concrete foundation design will be provided by the City. Site preparation includes tree removal, excavation and grading, ditch clearing, a stormwater dispersion trench, an asphalt driveway, and a concrete front porch. PEMB erection includes a concrete foundation, roof and foundation drains, steel anchoring and erection, siding, roofing, an interior wall, insulation, two man-doors, a garage door, and fire extinguishers. Electrical improvements include a new Pacific Power service connection to building, meter, breaker panel, lighting, receptacles, accommodations for HVAC, and a 2-inch fiber conduit. HVAC improvements include a mini-split system and building ventilation. Additive A is for a fire alarm system. Additive B is for an interior motion/intrusion alarm security system. Additive C is for installation of an owner provided security camera system. Additive D is for accommodations for a future generator. ARPA Funding Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
