The LUBGWMA Well Sampling Project (Project) includes the removal of pumps from a group of domestic wells by an Oregon-Licensed well driller or pump installer licensed by the Construction Contractors Board (Pump Contractor) contracted to OWRD. All work shall be conducted according to established, professional pump installation standards and in accordance with applicable OARs and ORSs. The Pump Contractor shall conduct work in a manner that prioritizes the health and safety of all site personnel. Should these guidelines and/or health and safety concerns conflict with elements of this technical specification, the Pump Contractor shall request clarification from OWRD before proceeding. A subset of approximately 20 wells within the LUBGWMA will be identified for the Project. The Project consists of the Pump Contractor removing pumps from wells, OWRD staff performing a geophysical survey, and the Pump Contractor reinstalling the pump to the same specifications as originally installed.
