The project consists of replacement of the existing corrugated metal arch culvert carrying SR 4001 traffic over an unknown tributary to Van Auken Creek with approach roadway improvements. The proposed structure will be a precast concrete box culvert. Other work includes minor roadway approach reconstruction, as well as mill and overlay, guiderail replacement, E&S control measures, temporary traffic control, signing, pavement marking, structure removal, and other miscellaneous construction work. Construction will be completed while traffic is detoured as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for State Route 4001, Section 670 in Wayne County, Clinton Township from approximately 0.30 miles East of SR 0296 at Segment 0100 Offset 0342 (Station 12+85.00) to approximately 0.4 miles West of Sensentine Road at Segment 0090 Offset 2838 (Station 17+45.00), with a total work area length of 360.00 feet (0.068 miles). Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
