This project shall consist of right-of-way full width & spot mowing on US0281 and various locations in Burnet & Llanos Counties, TX. This Contract includes work required under multiple Work Orders. For this contract, the Contractor should have in operation at all times, no less than four mowers for full width mowing, unless otherwise approved by the Engineer. This amount of equipment is for information purposes and the State will look at production rates to establish whether performance is progressing according to specifications. The Contractor will be given written notification of when to begin a mowing cycle. Within the written notification, the Contractor will be given the number of acres required for the mowing cycle. For this contract the basis of estimate for mowing acres per normal working day will be 140 acres for full width mowing. Bonds required.
