The work under this section shall consist of furnishing all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, and all other things necessary to complete the excavation, trenching, and backfilling for utility systems, including sanitary sewer, storm drainage, water distribution, inlets, manholes and other underground construction, in conformity with the required lines, grades, and typical cross sections shown on the drawings and in accordance with specifications herein outlined. Where these facilities are part of public infrastructure the specifications of the appropriate entity (TxDOT, City, Water System, etc.) shall apply. All referrals to other specifications are to the most current edition of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Standard Specification for Construction and Maintenance of Highways, Streets, and Bridges, which will be referred to as the “TxDOT Standard Specifications”.
