The purpose of this contract is to supply Winter Weather Materials for the Houston District as directed by Work Order and Managing Office. Counties in the Houston District include: Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Montgomery, and Waller. Each work order will specify a delivery site by the bid item in the contract and quantity to be supplied. The minimum amount of material to be ordered on an individual work order is twenty-five (25) tons or one (1) truck load. There are 7 working days allowed to complete each work order. For this contract the delivery site or delivery site 1 may be any location located within the Houston District or as directed by the managing office. Types of accepted haul vehicles include belly dump and end dump trucks. Bidders must be prequalified to be eligible to bid. Bonds required.
