The City of Charlottesville requests a quote for Charlottesville High School Variable Frequency Drives Replacements. Project Description: Removal and replacement of nineteen (19) variable frequency drives (VFD's). •The work shall take place over two (2) school breaks. Christmas Break 2024 and Spring Break 2025. •New VFD's have been purchased by the City of Charlottesville. •New VFD's are currently stored at the Charlottesville High School, 1400 Melbourne Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22901. •Contractor shall install new VFD's as per manufacturer's design and instructions. Please see attached documents. •Contractor is responsible for all modifications and additional items as required including wire, conduit, liquidtite, connectors, unit line/load voltage wiring, and building automation system (BAS) wiring. •Contractor shall preform new VFD's initial startup and checkout to return equipment back to normal operations. •New VFD's were purchased by the City of Charlottesville with manufacture factory startup included. This final factory startup shall be coordinated by Facilities Maintenance personnel. •Contractor is responsible for removal and proper disposal of all demolished units, trash and debris from the Project Work Area. Bonds required.
