The purpose of this IFB is to remove one, 24-foot double span vehicle gate and one, 20-foot single vehicle gate and replace both with a single span Tymetal Pluss vehicle gate locking system or a manufactured correctional grade equal to include any control motors needed. Existing gates are original construction of the main jail facility, located at 6900 Mimms Dr., Chesterfield, VA. 23832. The gates serve as the main entry and exit point to the secured area of the compound. Current gates and replacement gates are operated by existing security controls.
