Culpeper County seeks a qualified and experienced firm to establish a source of Electrical Repair and Design Services to perform such duties as may be required by the Culpeper County Department of Environmental Services at the County’s water and sewer utilities and associated infrastructure. Primary work areas include troubleshooting, repairing and modifying three-phase water and wastewater treatment equipment, controls, and VFD’s. Primary sites included the water and sewer systems at the Culpeper Airpark, Emerald Hill Elementary School, Clevenger’s Corner, Carver Center and other special projects. Experience sought in troubleshooting and repairing three-phase equipment including generators, pumps, blowers, mixers and associated controls, and VFD’s. A Professional Electrical Engineer on staff to design or modify electrical systems at the water and sewer facilities and serve as the Engineer of Record for those systems is preferred.
