The City of Fredericksburg is accepting bids for Water Filling Station Replacement. The selected contractor will be required to perform a full replacement of Fredericksburg Regional Transit’s existing Water-filling stations at Fredericksburg Regional Transit’s Central, Maintenance, and Operations Facilities. Site locations are detailed in bid documents. All labor, materials, and management/oversight will be included as part of the vendor’s quote. The requirements to complete this scope of services includes, but is not limited to: 1.) FXBGO! currently has a total of five (8) water filling stations located at three (3) locations. Contractor is required to remove and dispose of the current eight (8) water filling stations. Contractor is to supply and install four (4) water-filling stations located at three (3) FXBGO! facilities. Of a brand name or equal to a ELKAY. (equivalent must be approved by FXBGO!). Where dual water fountains currently are located, will install a single unit water filling station in its place. 2.) Modification to existing drain line(s). 3.) Contractor shall obtain and pay for all construction permits, licenses, and certificates of occupancy 4.) Contactor must be able to be compliant with the Davis Bacon Act. Wage Determination documentation attached. 5.) All work and related work for site cleanup and site restoration (ex. repair, restore, and repaint of any wall damage). 6.) See attachments for additional information. 7.) Project is required to include a one-year (1) warranty.
