The City of Richmond, VA (the “City”), on behalf of the Department of Public Utilities, seeks bids from qualified firms to install New Water Meters and Encoder Receiver Transmitters at customer locations throughout the City. DPU has identified for replacement nearly 50,000 water meters within City limits, ranging in size from 5/8”, 3/4”, and 1”. Of those 50,000 meters, the City will replace 10,000 meters through alternate means. This Project concerns the approximately 40,000 meters remaining throughout DPU’s service area. The Work has been organized into Deployment Sectors, based on meter billing cycles and geography. SBE goal 5%.
