The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways (DOH) invites bids for the Onego Bridge replacement, Rt 33 in Pendleton County. The project will consist of replacing the existing concrete slab bridge at the site. The proposed bridge will be spread concrete box beams supported by semi-integral abutments with spread footings. Traffic will be maintained during construction one-lane at a time using phased construction. The existing grouted foundation/streambank protection is scoured. The work will result in the placement of 116.5 cy of concrete on 0.025 acres below OHW and 63.5 cy of rock on 0.028 acres below OHW. The cofferdams will result in the temporary placement of 115.0 cy of rock on 0.051 acres below OHW. DBE goal 9%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
