We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
Bid documents can be viewed at or obtained from:
Work including, but not
limited to, the following: Coordination of all work to minimize disruption.
Demolition and removal of existing improvements including, but not limited to,
railroad tracks, railroad ties, railroad signalization equipment, asphalt
concrete (AC) pavement, utilities, reinforced concrete structures, poles,
signs, fencing, and miscellaneous obstructions. Procurement of Long Lead
materials, including but not limited to Trackwork, Special Trackwork, and
Railroad Signalization Equipment. Construction of railroad tracks with ties and
ballast, sub-ballast, railroad turnouts, Other Track Material (OTM),
geosynthetics, and appurtenances. Modification of railroad signalization system
at CP Perry and installation of cantilever structure. Utility protection
throughout the duration of the Work and as indicated on the Drawings.
Protection of existing abandoned oil wells. Abandoned oil well leak testing.
Utility relocation as indicated on the Drawings. Protection of third-party
utilities, whether shown or not shown, on Drawings. Perform demolition of
abandoned third party utilities on their behalf. Earthwork and grading of the
Site. Trenching, soils testing, and disposal. Subgrade preparation as indicated
on the Drawings as described in the Specifications. Construction of storm
drains, underdrains, perforated drains, underground storage tank system, and
connections to storm drain system. Construction of drip pans, oil-water
separator, sewer piping and appurtenances. Construction of AC pavement,
aggregate base, and pavement patching. Construction of concrete curb, gutter,
sidewalks, and driveways. Shifting, resurfacing, and relocation of existing
railroad tracks. Installation of high mast lighting and associated service
equipment and underground infrastructure. Construction of chain link and
commercial welded wire fencing and gates. Installation of Parkway Trees,
Groundcover, Vines, and Irrigation System. Provide traffic control for
construction phasing as needed to accommodate the indicated work. Perform,
complete, and make ready for its intended purpose, within the times specified,
including additional times provided for certain conditions, the Work or parts
thereof covered by the Contract, all in accordance with Plans, Specifications,
and any addendum thereto and such direction or instructions as the City may
give to supplement the Plans and Specifications. The Contractor shall retain
sole responsibility and expense for Quality Control of their work products.
