Must be pre-qualified. The last date to submit a fully completed questionnaire is 3:00 p.m. on December 13, 2023. Contractors are encouraged to submit pre-qualification packages as soon as possible, so that they may be notified of omissions of information to be remedied or of their pre-qualification status well in advance of the bid advertisement for this Project. The Project consists of water quality improvements to the existing District water system, including improvements at the existing District distribution site to add pumps and storage to blend treated surface water and groundwater from the existing Well No. 1 and production Well No. 2, drilled in July 2023 as the first phase of this Project. The project includes construction of a water transmission pipeline from the Well No. 2 site located near the community of Volta that includes bore and jack crossings at the (Central California Irrigation District (CCID) Main and Outside Canal and across Henry Miller Road near the Well No. 1 site. The District has obtained license agreements with CCID for the infrastructure improvements at the Main and Outside Canal crossings. The project also includes improvements to consolidate the existing Volta community. The consolidation includes supplying existing Volta customers with water from Well No. 2. Water meters will be installed on existing residential and commercial service laterals. The existing Volta well will be destroyed and associated well site facilities will be removed as part of this Project. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
