Vendor shall: • wash both sides of exterior windows at all three locations. • address and take all necessary precautions for all safety issues concerning pedestrian traffic while cleaning windows. • follow all OSHA standards. • provide adequate barriers or tarps for interior windows to protect City furnishings, equipment, and floors from window-washing solutions and equipment. RFQ#5527 - ANNUAL: Window Cleaning Page 2 • prevent dirty water from splashing onto interior or exterior walls. • leave all interior and exterior windows, frames, sills and walls free of streaks or water spots. • be responsible for all damages to the windows, window film, roof, green roof, walls, and flooring of the buildings. • clean all cobwebs, bird droppings, and accumulated dirt that are visible on windows, frames, and sills on the exterior of the building, and all cobwebs and accumulated dirt on interior window frames and sills. • protect all interior floors and exterior roofing material from tears, punctures, or other damage from the use of ladders or other equipment. Vendor may have to use a boom lift for Civic Center and Library window cleaning. The boom lift cannot be parked or driven over any lawn or landscaped areas. City staff will be asked to remove all decoration(s) on window sills prior to window cleaning. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
