Work under this contract shall consist of blading - high edge removal - on SH0288 and various locations in Brazoria County. This is a Routine Maintenance Non-Site-Specific Call Out Contract. The Engineer will determine the location of the day’s work. Work will be performed as scheduled by the department or as needed. The Contractor will begin call out work within the required time for each work order. Work orders are expected to be completed per the contract plans within the number of days allowed for each work order. All call out work orders will have a begin date and number of working days. The Contractor will begin work within 48 hours of notification for routine call outs, unless otherwise approved by the Engineer. Work will be completed within the required number of working days. The Contractor will begin work within 2 hours of notification for emergency call outs and complete within 7 hours, unless otherwise approved by the Engineer. Bonds required.
