The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways (DOH) invites bids for the Church St. Bridge Repairs, N2/15 in Braxton County. Work will consist of concrete patching and repair, epoxy crack injection, application of concrete protective coating on all exposed concrete surfaces, placement of gabion baskets at the downstream corner of abutment #1 to retain roadway fill, milling, application of waterproofing membrane, pavement of the structure, and replacement of guardrail. Traffic will be maintained using flaggers. The area of ground disturbance will be minimal, with only a few square feet of disturbance anticipated for repair operations and placement of gabion baskets at abutment #1. All work will be within the existing right of way. There will be no tree removal or work below OHW. Crosses state listed mussel stream – Saltlick Creek, no work below OHW. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
