SCOPE OF WORK BASE BID The selected operator must provide the following services and equipment: 60 x 60 High-Flow Portable Cooling Grid: Installation, and operation of a high-flow, portable cooling grid to maintain the ice surface. Portable Air-Cooled Chiller Package: Provision of a portable air-cooled chiller package along with necessary pumps and hoses for efficient cooling. Glycol Secondary Coolant Charge: Application of glycol secondary coolant charge to support optimal ice formation and maintenance. Extruded Foam Installation and Vapor Barriers: Installation of extruded foam and vapor barriers under the ice surface as needed to ensure proper insulation. Modular Handrail System: Setup of a modular handrail system to ensure safety for skaters. Brilliant White Painted Ice Surface: Creation of a brilliant white, painted ice surface suitable for skating activities. Sponsor Logos Application: Ability to apply sponsor logos on the ice surface before the formation is complete, as per sponsor agreements. Ice Rink Maintenance Equipment: Provision of all necessary equipment for ice rink maintenance and upkeep throughout the operational period. Rental Skates: Supply of 300 rental skates in good condition, stored in racks for easy access by visitors. Skate Changing Deck Area: Establishment of a skate changing deck area with rubber or synthetic turf covering, spanning up to 1000 square feet. Engineer for Set and Strike: Deployment of an engineer for set-up and dismantling of equipment before and after the event. Refrigeration Technicians: Availability of refrigeration technicians on call 24 hours during the event to address any technical issues promptly. Transportation and Freight: Arrangement for transportation and freight services to transport equipment to and from the ice rink site. Equipment Readiness: Ensure that all equipment and amenities are installed and ready for testing forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the opening date. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
