The City of Arcadia will accept sealed bids from qualified firms and/or individuals for clearing of vegetative obstructions within the Runway 14-32 approaches and surrounding areas at Arcadia Municipal Airport. The work is divided into a base bid and additive alternate bid. Base bid work includes tree removal, clearing, stump grinding and backfill, disposal of removed material and debris generated by the tree clearing, restoration of disturbed areas, and incidental work. Additive alternate bid work consists of residential tree removal within private property, stump grinding, disposal of removed material and debris, restoration of tree removal locations and other disturbed areas, tree replacement or other mitigation measures, and incidental work as specified within the context of this solicitation. Bonds required.
